Environmental neglect, where humanity’s actions threaten the planet’s future, serves as another powerful catalyst for disillusionment. Moreover, the proliferation of misinformation and the apparent disregard for truth and knowledge might further intensify feelings of skepticism. Ultimately, such experiences and observations can erode trust and hope, making it challenging to maintain a positive view of human potential and progress.
