Even though the city was bustling and full of life, I felt isolated and disconnected because I was far from family and friends. The transition from a familiar support network to initially having no one to rely on was a stark contrast. It was this period that taught me the importance of self-reliance and pushed me to build new relationships, which ultimately enriched my life tremendously.
