The time I felt the loneliest in life was during my first year of moving to a new city for a job opportunity. Even though the city was bustling and full of life, I felt isolated and disconnected because I was far from family and friends. Adapting to a new environment and trying to make connections was challenging, especially because I was not very familiar with the area’s culture and lifestyle.
