Experiencing a severe car accident stands out as one of the most distressing events in my life. It happened on a rainy night when visibility was low, and I was returning home from work. While approaching an intersection, another vehicle failed to obey the traffic lights and collided with my car. The impact was sudden and overwhelming, causing my car to spin uncontrollably before coming to a halt. In those chaotic moments, an intense wave of fear and helplessness washed over me, amplified by the loud screeching of brakes and the crash itself. Though physically I escaped with minor injuries, the emotional aftermath lingered much longer. The accident left me with heightened anxiety whenever I got behind the wheel and disturbed sleep due to recurring memories of the incident. Over time, seeking counseling and support helped me come to terms with what happened and gradually rebuild my confidence on the road.
