The first video game I remember playing is “Super Mario Bros.” on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Released in 1985, this iconic platformer was groundbreaking at the time and has become a cornerstone of gaming history. The game was designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka, and it featured the adventures of the now-legendary character Mario as he navigates through the Mushroom Kingdom to rescue Princess Toadstool from the villainous Bowser. The simplistic yet challenging gameplay, coupled with the catchy soundtrack and vibrant pixel art, made it an unforgettable experience. “Super Mario Bros.” not only introduced me to the world of video games but also ignited my passion for gaming as a whole.
