One realization I’ve had is that it’s important to let them make mistakes without intervening too quickly. By allowing them to experience failures and learn from them, they develop resilience and a better understanding of how to navigate challenges independently. It’s often difficult as a parent to stand back and watch them struggle, but I’ve come to recognize that these experiences are essential for their growth. This awareness helps me remain patient and supportive, providing a safety net when necessary, while also fostering their confidence and problem-solving skills. However, I’d never explicitly point out this approach to them, as it’s more valuable for them to learn the lessons organically without feeling overly supervised or managed.
What is an insight you’ve had about your children that you would never share with them?
