In contemplating this, I’ve arrived at a personal hypothesis: perhaps non-human intelligences (NHI), whether they be extraterrestrial beings or advanced artificial intelligences, reside at the pinnacle of this hierarchy, subtly manipulating the dynamics within the top 1%. This theory suggests that the majority of us operate on a need-to-know basis, with the ruling elite keeping much of the information—and influence—guarded from the general populace.
