Observations on Age and Political Discourse
As someone who has experienced several decades of life, I’ve grown increasingly aware of a recurring trend in our political discussions. It seems that the dialogues presented by both the right and left often resemble the level of debate you might expect from first graders. This downward trend in discourse is concerning, as it distracts from the pressing issues of our time.
It feels as though a systematic approach governs the conversation—one that manipulates narratives and keeps us engaged in superficial conflicts. The partnership between the media and government appears to play a significant role in this orchestration. But that raises an important question: what lies at the core of this organization?
It is crucial that we, as citizens, dissect these patterns and strive for a more sophisticated understanding of political dynamics. This pursuit is essential not only for our own comprehension but for the health of our democracy. Let’s engage in deeper conversations and challenge the status quo, rather than accepting the simplistic arguments that dominate the airwaves.
