It often manifests with symptoms like sweating, dizziness, and even panic attacks when near or envisioning high places. This fear can be traced back to evolutionary survival instincts where falling from heights posed a real danger. For some individuals, exposure therapy or cognitive-behavioral techniques may help alleviate this anxiety by gradually desensitizing the fear response. Ultimately, the challenge with irrational fears is that they often defy logical explanation, requiring individuals to approach them with patience and empathy.
